Turkey Breakfast Sausage
A perfect partner with Duncan Farms eggs for breakfast, these turkey breakfast patties are packed full of flavor.
Ground Turkey Breakfast Sausage Patties
1lb of Duncan Farms Ground Turkey
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tbsp of coconut aminos OR soy sauce with 1/2 tbsp of brown sugar
1 tsp of ginger paste or freshly grated ginger
2 tbsp of green onions minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp of red pepper flakes, optional
1 tsp of dried basil OR 2 leaves of fresh basil, minced
2 tsp of salt
Combine ground turkey, coconut aminos, ginger, green onions, garlic, red pepper flakes and salt in a bowl. Combine until just mixed and let rest in fridge for 10 minutes.
Preheat olive oil, just enough to coat pan, in a large skillet over medium heat. Use a cookie scoop to portion out meat and form a patty in your hands by flattening the ball of meat.
Allow patties to cook for 3-4 minutes on both sides, you want them nice and brown before flipping. Depending on thickness of patty, you may need to cook for a few extra minutes, so that they are cooked the whole way through. Internal temp should read 170.
Pair with Duncan Farms eggs cooked sunnyside up and avocado slices.
