Turkey Lettuce Wraps
This recipe is a healthy weeknight meal, it also work great with ground chicken and ground beef.
Ground Turkey Lettuce Wraps
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespooons of ginger, peeled and minced
1 lb of ground turkey
2 tablespoons of hoison sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1-2 heads of artisan lettuce
Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger until cooked fragrant 2-3 minutes.
Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, about 4 to 6 minutes.
Add hoisin and soy sauce and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Serve over a bed of lettuce, or make mini lettuce wraps using leaves of your artisan blend salad mix.
For extra crunch and flavor garnish with chopped cashews and green onions.
