PROTEINS THIS WEEK
You will receive one dozen pasture raised eggs. Pasture-raised means they are free to roam and forage for grass and bugs, and are supplemented with a balanced feed for a robust diet. Compared to factory eggs, pasture-raised eggs have more vitamin A, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamin E.
You will receive one package of our world class breakfast sausage links. (1lb)
In our efforts to supply you with nutritious and healthy food, we have asked our processor to eliminate the sugar that is usually added to ground pork sausage. This mix is free of MSG & sugar, and has simple ingredients for a mildly flavored sausage link. Simple ingredients for amazing food!
Our pork is pasture & forest raised, on a supplemental diet free of corn, soy and GMO's. Pastures are free of pesticides and fertilizers and our pigs are free of medication.
You will receive one package of our pasture raised, grass fed ground beef (1lb).
You will receive one package of our world class ground pork (1lb) . Our ground pork is forest and pasture raised, naturally rich in vitamin D3 and has a great balance of omega 3 & 6.

We are a beyond organic, permaculture farm and availability may change by the time we send you your CSA . We strive to provide you with what we have planned this week, but if something changes, we will upload this change before you receive your CSA. We send out only top quality produce, but due to our zero chemical policy, a little marring may occur on products. These vegetables/fruit are still beautiful and delicious. This week you could purple murasaki potatoes, turnips, Duncan farms italian seasoning packet.
Purple Muraskai Potatoes
A purple thin- skinned, white fleshed Japanese Sweet potato. Has a higher starch content than a traditional sweet potato similar to yukon gold potatoes.
This higher starch content makes it fluffy and moist when baked or roasted. Flavor notes of chestnut and brown sugar. Great for roasting or pan frying. Store in a cool dark place in your home.
Wash skin right before eating. We love cutting them into 1” cubes, coating in olive oil. Sprinkle on Duncan Farms Italian seasoning, a few cracks of freshly ground salt and toss to coat. Place in a preheated 400 oven on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 20 mins ( or until cooked, depends on how thick you diced them), flipping them once halfway. You want them to be fork tender and crispy.
White Lady Turnips
This turnip has a smooth, milk-white skin and mild, delicious flesh.
Best stored wrapped in a paper towel in a resealable bag in your fridge's crisper drawer.
